What is Personal Care
Personal care services encompass a variety of hands-on daily assistance tailored to the unique needs of older adults. These services primarily focus on supporting individuals with day-to-day activities, including dressing, personal grooming, bathing, toileting, and assistance with mobility and transfers.
Additionally, personal caregivers extend their support to various other tasks such as running errands, preparing meals, light housekeeping, offering medication reminders, and assisting with other routine activities. By providing this comprehensive assistance, personal care services enable older adults to maintain their independence and quality of life within the comfort of their own homes.
How much does home care cost?
Home health aide care is $45 an hour, booked from 1 to 8 hours a day, with no minimum contract and no assessment fee. Overnight care is $540 per 12 hour night and around the clock care is $1,080 a day. See monthly cost examples.
Can your aides give medication?
Our aides are trained, background checked and insured, but they are not nurses and do not administer medication. They can give reminders, be present while your loved one takes their own medication, and call for help if something goes wrong. Nursing is a separate service.
How do I know the aide showed up?
Every visit is logged in MyCase, our care coordination platform, so families can see when the aide arrived and left.
How do we get started?
